My call to adventure began when I was promoted from 8th grade to 9th grade. I prepared for all the challenges high school would throw at me. High school seemed far away but before I knew it, I was receiving my call to adventure. With all the preparation and knowledge I gained from 8th grade I accepted the call to adventure.

This illustrates the call to adventure because I got promoted to 9th grade as my call to adventure and accepted it because I was prepared.

This illustrates the call to adventure because in time of need, Police officer John Blake  went to Bruce Wayne seeking his help. This begins Batmans journey.

When Bane and his mercenaries take over the stock exchange, they steal key financial records and information. Batman comes out of hiding and emerges on the scene after eight years of hiding. Batman has come out of hiding and has jumped into the special world of fighting crime as a masked vigilante.  

This demonstrates crossing the threshold because Batman comes out of hiding in order to step into the special world of fighting crime as a masked vigilante.

Once Batman finished training himself and prepared to fight Bane, he returns to Gotham City. He must face the greatest challenge in his journey. He faces death as he confronts Bane.

This illustrates challenges in the heros journey because Batman has trained and prepared to fight Bane even though he faces death as he confronts Bane.

This illustrates the abyss because Batman has been reborn into a new and improved person. If it wasn’t for the sacrifice he made then he would have not been reborn.

My experience illustrates crossing the threshold because I left my old school behind and set out to go on a journey in a brand new world.

In my journey I came across challenges, challenges such as projects and tests. I had to use my knowledge in order to move on and defeat these challenges. Some of these challenges were moderately difficult and others were very difficult. No matter how difficult they were I was able to plow through these challenges.

My experience demonstrates the challenges faced in the heros journey because I have to do many projects and tests which are my challenges in my journey that I have to overcome.

My experience illustrates the abyss because during finals week, I must endure a long and exhausting week of stress. This stress is created from taking the final test of the semester which could improve your grade or hurt your grade.
