Some dangers of ticks, mosquitoes, and bees/wasps are when you don't have anything to repel against the insects. You need more than just one repellent because just one repellent can cant repel all the insects. They are dangerous to humans by them spreading diseases. Some really good ways to avoid insects in the wilderness are a can of repellent for bugs. This and could decrease your chance of having a bug or something near you. Also, something to get rid of mosquitoes you could light a campfire and the smoke from it would get rid of the mosquitoes. If you are bitten of stung by a insect and had an allergic reaction and had someone near you call 911. If the case is less severe you could wash the bite or sting then, put an ice pack on it and leave that for 10 minutes. Then the bite or sting would feel better as time goes on. Some diseases that insects can transmit is Lyme disease. You can get this by getting bit by a black legged tic. Another disease you can get by a mosquitoes is malaria.
Websites:
http://www.healthline.com/health/first-aid/bites-stings
http://patient.info/health/insect-bites-and-stings-leaf
http://kidshealth.org/en/teens/bug-bites.html
http://www.angelfire.com/ia3/camping2/bugs.htm
http://www.pestproducts.com/bitesandstings.htm
