^ I agree with this quotation because it explains what documentary really is and how documentaries show us the purpose of the story with images and archive footage.

I don't believe that digital technology really matters that much to the audience. If you go and watch a film in the cinema you can tell that the editing has changed with all effects they use. Sound effects and different film effects never have been the greatest but due to new technology they have become better and more realistic.

Though few big budget Hollywood movies of recent times were shot using film cameras, the industry currently is relying mostly on digital equipment for producing films. More than 90% of Hollywood films are shot using digital cameras today.

Advantages: The cost of production is low for movies produced using digital cameras. This is one of the major reasons why filmmakers from around the world are preferring digital over film cameras for making movies.

All of his documentaries are about America and about the violence which is within.
The one documentary which was award winning was "Bowling For Columbine". This documentary really made people realize how much gun violence there is in America and how most of it is from younger people. These key aspects are also common traits too as they are all about violence and america.

I feel as if Amy did not have a good relationship with the media. She said in an interview that if she became too famous she'd go crazy and that's exactly what happened. As she got bigger I believe that the photographers became more harsher which she could not handle, nobody ever could. Loads of people blame the media for her death which is understandable in a way considering it gets all too much for a famous star and they all end up falling down a dark end.

The documentary includes a lot of behind the scenes in Amy's life and has a lot of archive footage involved. As some people may have found them upsetting I guess Kapadia got permission off the family and management to use these. He also included interviews but have archive footage and images to be on top of the narrative just to show you more depth of what they were talking about.
