I was scared once when I was trick or treating. I was running to get to a house and I saw a super scary skeleton. He was very scary so I screamed. But it was only a very friendly smiling scare crow. Phew!

I was scared once on my 3 birthday when I got a present from my parents. I am a horse lover so they got me a fake horse that actually looked and sounded real and I was only 3 so I was scared even though I love horses and this toy was outside so I remember herring it nah and I went to look and I ran right back inside but then my parents told me it was fake so then I loved it and I still have that horse today!

I was scared once when I went to the Sherbrook community center on Halloween last year for a haunted field trip. There was a big haunted house there. I was scared when I went in it and had to go out since it was so creepy. The part that scared me most was when I entered the first spooky section. There was this woman that grabbed my leg. There was also a piano that made sudden sounds that you never knew when it will happen. At least its all fake.

I was scared once when I sat in our classroom working late on a dark Halloween night. The night was very peaceful and I was getting much work done until I heard haunting sounds outside my window. It sounded like shrieks and howls - maybe from ghoulish creatures. "Are there really such things as monsters?"
