What if we looked to add them as a an additional resource? Help to educate the Police better about what are Communities need. How different our communities just a few blocks apart from each other can be. How each part of Community needs understanding, reaching out to and relating to.

What if as Community Leaders, we then did the same to help teach our Communities more about our Police; their drivers, targets, fears, and desire to help. If we provide a bridge to understanding between both parties, maybe over time a little change can take place and with more friendly policing and greater trust, Communities can help reduce violence and grow closer.

LCS catered and organised with our associate Professor Katherine Duffy and Her Husband Barry

The European minimum wage campaign. This was a extra ordinary event. A bus came with members of 13 European countries all nationalitiesaand faiths & no faiths they travelled thousands of miles to Ireland and then last stop was Leicester, yes Leicester in LCS Community Centre.

They came to Leicester to LCS Community Centre where our team and volunteers received and welcomed the bus. We had the church Red Choir Hymns & Recitation for Holy Quran. 50 guest had afternoon Lunch and then next day was the network day where we were invited to the Leicester Cathedral to give a speech. The bus was received by Sir Peter Soulsby in the City Centre.

Teaching and training youth on how to mentor each other. This was acheived by two concepts internal class room based & out side practical work & activities.

This was done by talking about the day to day challenges they face and how they overcome these issues and situations.

The common interest or vision is the real ice breacker this surely sets the bench mark and gets them to really understand each other.

The Youths given the chance to express their own views without always adult supervision and authority.
