He was laid to rest with his beloved parents Christine, Christina, Diamond, Winnequa, and Lianna. Merts worked as a successful engineer for 32 years before retiring and volunteering for the church as a deacon. He is survived by his wife Sabrina and their beautiful child Selena and granddaughter Rose. Caiden and Sabrina first met in the summer of 2041 on the beach and have been together ever since.His favorite past times include watching baseball, driving his motorcycle, kayaking, and having tea parties with his granddaughter. He was a caring man who loved to do as much as he could for others. Anyone who knew him would leave feeling joy and experiencing laughter. He will truly be missed by his family, friends, and community.
