During the war, Germany had a total of 350 submarines, and also had the development of the amount of submarine’s main combat weapon increased. Before the war, Germany only had 28 submarines, France had 38, America had about 50, but the Great Britain had the most, they had 76 submarines. Before the war, people did not recognize the use of what the submarines can do. However in 1914, the Germany’s attacked the Great Britain by just using a iron shelled submarine, and caused 1459 deaths and sank three 10,000 ton cruisers. The news spread out quickly and the people were shocked by what the submarines can do and they recognized the use of submarines.</div>]]></description>
