There once was a boy who ventured out

Beyond the rising horizon

In search of a long lost throne

To sit upon once again

He set out on his journey fearless and free

Off white shores and sadness of sand

Away from where the crows cawed

And tree leaves danced in the breeze

And the wind it howled through his hair

Her cold fangs came to bare 

On his skin and golden hillside grass

Though shining still swaying dead

All oceans seem to glow green

With legs on land long since been

Finding naught what he searched for

But discovering treasure ever had

But there are things 

You have to see for yourself 

They say seeing is believing 

You have to watch the sunset 

An infinite beauty 

You have to watch the stars 

Such a shiny ruby

I can’t show you the way 

That is your choice to make 

But you can find me 

Skipping stones at the lake 

The lake of great dynasty 

if it means i get to keep you close to me 

i’ll set myself on fire with a lighter 

break my bones as you please 

the sun makes me cry 

but your stellar eyes

have a safe shine  

you’re idolized, i’m hypnotized

you could jump off your pedestal

be my fallen angel, i 

see you in the water 

see you in the sky 

your constellation at night 

i’ll succumb to gravity 

if it means i get to keep you close to me
