A neighbourhood is a particular area of a larger city or town that is frequently distinguished by unique physical, social, and cultural characteristics. It is characterised geographically, usually by established or formal borders. They also includes the citizens' feeling of identity and community. Although neighbourhoods differ greatly, they typically have nearby facilities like stores, parks, and schools that support the everyday activities and social interactions of us , the residents. Neighbourhoods can have a variety of features, they ranges from the more open, green spaces of suburban neighbourhoods to compact, environments of urban settings. All of them promote social interactions and a feeling of community. These regions are important economically as well, impacting development and property values. In addition, it is also important hubs for local politics and cultural events.

Who are the variety of people in the neighbourhood

A neighbourhood usually has a mixed population that all contributes to the community. Among the residents ,there are families, singles, couples, kids, teens, and senior citizens. The neighborhood's services and economy are supported by local educators, healthcare providers, business owners, and service personnel. Volunteers, public servants, and local leaders often improve safety as well as involvement in the community. Artists, religious groups, and cultural groupings all contribute to social and cultural variety. In addition, the neighbourhood benefits from the new energy and ideas by commuters, students, and newcomers.. With this mix of social groups, workers, and residents makes the neighbourhood lively and cohesive.

We can conclude from this GI survey that many students aged 13 -16 and residents believe that kallang provides inclusive access to essential services, affordable housing, and community amenities .There are many facilities such as ramps for elderly's, disabled and strollers ,bike paths to prevent pedestrian from injuries and community centre's .Furthermore, sufficient amenities such as clinics ,hospitals and swimming pools are available around each neighbourhoods .From our data , we can also conclude that there are many public transport close to the residents house for easy access.

In conclusion,We can say that kallang neighbourhood does cater to the needs of variety of people as seen in our data representation.Those who responded have also proved our hypothesis right as facilities such as childcare centers,community centers and sufficient ammenities such as swimming pools,public transport does cater to the needs of people, giving them a comfortable ,inclusive and accessible place to live .
