Additionally, the rotation of displays and artifacts or the organization of various exhibitions, focusing on different themes could be done in order to upgrade the historical sites and motivate local residents to pay a visit regularly. Secondly, didactic as well as recreational competitions should be conducted so as to draws people’s attention. Since they can broaden their knowledge about the country’s history when joining the competitions, it will also help increase a sense of attachment and patriotism toward them. To recapitulate, I hold my belief that renovating the layout, rotating displays and organizing competitions for educational and entertainment purpose can draw the local residents’ attention.

Nowadays, a lot of museums and historical sites seems to appeal mainly visited more than local people. Low attendances of local people visiting museums and historical sites can have many reasons. Firstly, maybe some of local people already have a knowledge of that place or they have already visted that place before. Secondly, most of tourists want to come to a fancy or a beautiful place. Thirdly, the expensive entrance fee also makes local people hesitate. There are some solutions will make the number of local visitors increase. I think we should create some competition to stimulate the curiosity and interest of visitors. The second solution that we can change or decorate the layout to the place look more attractives. Finally, we should lower admission fees or offer them the discount ticket to make the local visitors feel more comfortable. In conclusion, attracting local people to visit museums or historical sites is a difficult process. However, there are many way to improve these problems.

Nowadays, while many museums and historical sites are mainly visited by tourists but not local people. The main reason for this is people usually only need to visit one time each places, if they go too much of the same place, they would be bored. Since new tourists always come, these places would be crowded all year round, but there are not many new residents moving into that area, which makes the local visitors significantly lower than the tourists. To prevent this from happening, museums' and historical sites' layouts should be upgraded to prevent the locals from getting bored from them. Second, more competitions and festivals for entertainment should be held at these places so that local people could be entertained along with tourists. That would attract more residents and also more tourists to these places. Although many museums and historical sites have something that needed changes, the most important thing is to keep the tradition in each of them.
