Hi, I’m Patrick Madula.

I’m a 3rd year college student taking Bachelor of Physical Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. I want to become a teacher who helps students enjoy being active, healthy, and strong. I believe learning should be fun, easy to understand, and useful in real life. I use technology in my teaching, like videos, mobile apps, and online tools, to make lessons more exciting and clear. This helps students join in more and learn better.

My goal is to guide my students to love movement, stay healthy, and grow with confidence, both inside and outside the classroom.

One activity we created in Technology for Teaching and Learning 2 was a digital group presentation about Heart Rate Monitors. Our group used Canva for a presentation to explain how traditional and modern heart rate monitoring works. We included clear visuals, labeled sections, and comparisons between traditional and modern methods.

We also explained how electrical and optical sensors work in smartwatches, fitness trackers, and ECG apps. This activity helped us learn how to use technology to teach health topics in a more engaging and organized way. It also showed how digital tools can make lessons easier to understand, especially in subjects like Physical Education and health.

As a PE student for 3 years.

I have learned many ways to use technology in my studies. I often used PowerPoint and Canva to make presentations. These tools helped me explain my topics better and made my work more creative. I also used Google Forms to make online quizzes and surveys for group activities and assessments. I also learned how to use fitness apps and heart rate monitors to track physical activity. These tools helped me understand how technology can support health and fitness. One of the best tools I used was CapCut, a video editing app. I used it to edit exercise videos and PE demonstrations, which made our outputs more fun and easy to watch. I also used Google Classroom to submit tasks, join discussions, and get feedback from our professor.

Right now, we are using Google Forms to collect data for our research. It is very helpful because it is easy to use and very convenient. We can send the form online and quickly gather responses from many people. It also automatically organizes the answers, which saves us time and effort. As student, this tool really helps us do research in a faster and more organized way, especially when we need to reach many respondents.

At first, I didn’t know how to use most of these technologies, but through my experience as a PE student, I slowly learned and developed useful tech skills. These tools have helped me improve how I learn, create, and communicate in my classes. Now, I can use them with more confidence, especially in teaching and learning tasks.

At first, I didn’t know how to use technology well in school. But after some practice, I learned how to use tools like Canva, Google Forms, CapCut, and Google Classroom. I’m not very good at making presentations, and I think I’m just an average student, but I try my best to improve.

I enjoy using these tools because they help me make my work more creative and organized. Sometimes I still feel unsure, but I’m happy when I finish my tasks. Some of my professors gave me good feedback and said they liked how I used technology. I also got some negative or helpful comments when I made mistakes. I use that feedback to get better next time.

Most of my classmates make beautiful digital presentations, so even if mine are not perfect, I’m proud that I tried. These experiences are helping me get ready to teach in the future, especially now that technology is important in education.
