This was a big boost for me to decide to study in Tilburg University.

In addition to this, I have always wanted to have the experience of being in a campus and receive education as the international students tent to have in a foreign country. 

Another important reason why I decided to follow the path of business was because it is a career that nowadays is in the spotlight, at the same time this pathway is useful to find easily a job and more when you are a post graduat  student from one of this best ranked Universities.

I got into Holland ISC while I was looking for a university to apply to. Before that, I have gotten a lot of information because I was looking for the entry requirements and all the documents that were needed for an international student in order to enrol the higher education system.

Therefore, I knew what I had to do but all of the foundation year were above of my budget until I found Tilburg University. This university, had and specific section that was for international students thus providing information about the foundation year requirements and everything that a student must know.

After this, I applied to the foundation year and I went through a process of selection and sorting out important documents for myself.

Later this year, I started kind of a preparation curse which was called "Prepare for Success " I learned more about how to use the platform study smart and how might be the structure of the classes in a close future.

Finally, I started to get ready to come to The Netherlands and start with my journey, I left London, I quit my job and now I'm here in Amsterdam, giving my best effort to my studies and to take the most of this experience. 

What was I thinking and feeling?
I was feeling really scared at the beginning of the year, I didn't want that the moment of moving just knocked my door but there were two options for me; Cancel the agreement and go back to my country or coming here, face my fears and proof to myself that I'm capable of doing everything I would like to. 

What was good and bad about the experience?
I haven't finished with this academic year, however it's turning into an great experience for me and it also make me feel well prepared for the first year at uni. 

Even though, I have experienced bad moments where I was feeling that I wanted to dissappear or even die but what keeps me going is the fact that I want to be someone who can make a difference not only in a career prospect but in life.

2. In what ways could you obtain these skills over the course of the next few years?
-Joining into projects which are from a need of group interaction, I think they will be the best option to develop most of the soft skills that are required. Also,  to develop confidence I think trying always new things or being exposed to a situation in which you need to be your own leader will help a lot to gain confidence.
