In Year 6, we integrate the SDGs directly into our Migration unit. This approach has proven to be an effective way of providing contextualised, meaningful teaching, helping students connect global issues to their learning.

Year 2 were challenged to come up with some actions this week about how to help life under water. They learned how discarded plastic gets into the rivers and makes its way to the ocean. They pledged to reuse plastic and pick up rubbish around the school. They will also ask parents if they can bring less packaged foods in snack boxes, replacing it with fruit instead!
