The three photos at the bottom of the collage were taken in MSK-7 South University Centre. The bottom left image, I highlight the old chart we used to access doctor orders, write progress notes, and organize transfer notes, patients appointments, lab results, and other important patient information in a binder. In my left hand, I am holding the Mobile Epic Rover, a mobile app that allows nurses to access patients' clinical information in real-time. In addition, to Mobile Rover we also used WOW “Workstations on Wheels” to administer medications, patient charting, accessing electronic health records and also for documentation. This tool was created to improve efficiency and ensure accurate documentation, showcasing one example of how nursing practices have advanced during my time at UHN.
