two factors affecting demand are price and income tax. If the amount of tax increases, people will have less money to spend on goods and necessities, thus demand will decrease. If the amount of tax decreases, demand will increase as they will have more money or income to spend on goods and services. the other factor is price. If the price of a product increases, less people can afford it, thus demand will decrease. If the price of a product decreases, more people will be willing to buy it, which will lead to an increase in demand.

Income affects demand when a person's income increase his willingness means demand will also increase and if his income decreases his demand also decrease for eg Mike income is 200 and he is buying 4 different goods when his income rises he will buy more than four goods and when demand decreases vice versa.

Direct Tax effects demand basically when the person's income rise or fall and the direct tax increase so his demand will decrease and direct tax are not increasing the person demand will increase.

Muhammad Hassan 9E

There are many factors that affect demand other than price such as the conditions of demand even if the price is unchanged the demand could go up or down depending on condition for example the demand for ice cream will go up when the weather is hot even at high price. The income is also a factor if you have a high income the demand for inferior goods will decrease and higher quality goods increase for example you won't have to use bud you can buy your own car

Written by: Hassan Usman

Two key factors influencing demand are price and consumer preferences. Changes in price often lead to corresponding shifts in demand – typically, higher prices reduce demand, while lower prices increase it. Additionally, shifts in consumer preferences, influenced by factors like trends, advertising, or cultural changes, can significantly impact the demand for a product or service.

Price of the good or service: When the price of a good or service increases, the quantity demanded typically decreases. This is because consumers have less purchasing power and may choose to substitute cheaper alternatives.

Income of consumers: When consumers have more income, they have more purchasing power and are able to demand more goods and services. This is why demand for luxury goods and services tends to increase during times of economic prosperity.

By:ziauddin mahesar

    90

The first factor is the price of the product/service.When the price goes down people tend to be more willing to buy it, eg:if the price of sneakers decreases, the demand will increase.if the price goes up, demand usually decreases eg:the price of a sneakers increases, the demand will decrease.

Another factor is consumer’s income. When people have higher income level they are more willing to buy a good/service. eg: they will prefer buying their own private car to travel.therefore Demand for cars will increase. If the income level decreases, then the demand also decreases eg:they will prefer travelling from public transportation than going from a private car therefore the demand for cars will decrease.

-Chaahat

From:Class 9O
