2. Each source from the table contained information that happened step by step and was synthesized and at the end, the author sighted his/her evaluation about the topic. It was presented using the table and the author constructed his/her evaluation about the topic by using the synthesizing matrix. 

1. The first step that the author started doing is analyzing  and did  a research background on the topic he/she picked, after the author did some research about the topic he/she researched some sources he/she used those sources to make a Synthesis Matrix.

 

2. The author presented the information by gathering the data from the different sources then highlighting the main ideas about each source .

2.Through the use of a chart that organizes the synthesized sources, the topic was presented in a systematic order. The presentation plan is good and organized.

Based on our observations, the first step of the author was to present the instructions in the materials, kind of setting it as the introduction part. On one hand, the instruction on “creating your synthesis matrix” tells us how to create your review in a step-by-step manner as well as some reminders. On the other hand, “Reporting: Synthesis” is the first part of showing the step-by-step manner of creating a part of an essay which also includes some reminders. Thus, making the first steps of the authors of both materials to be similar.

Regarding the first material “Creating your synthesis matrix,” the information was presented in a table manner which separated the different sources that aimed to exert several topics on a specific area to be talked about. On the other hand, the second material, “Reporting: Synthesis,” presented its information in a sequenced manner. To expound, it was somehow presented like a story as every text box was connected to the following text box. Moreover, its highlights were helpful is emphasizing the points it wanted to convey. 

The first step we noticed that the author used as a way of starting the synthesis is by discussing directly how the main topic or term is defined. From the first example, it stated directly the ideas being presented through explaining the discrimination that the women faced during the said time. It discussed the main points of the topic which made it more argumentative and interesting.  Meanwhile from the second example, it first defined the term which is about to be discussed. The synthesizing started first by defining what rainforest is, then thoroughly supported it using bulleted information.

2. How was the information presented in different sources synthesized?

The information presented was synthesized through having a deeper understanding of the topics being discussed. We think the way it was synthesized was through the collection of data and ideas and putting them overall in one discussion, in a way wherein the problems, reasons and effects of these were organized and put in an interesting and compelling way. Aside from that, the information including the pros and cons were discussed through citing some sources in a comprehensive and continuous sound analysis.

2. The information presented in different sources synthesized has a deeper understanding about the topic, expanding and gathering informations, identify the mainpoints or the essential sentences or words by higlighting it for the readers to easily understand about the topic being synthesized. I like how they organized the informations they gathered, and it is easy to understand. 

 

After which, they filed the information from the different sources in the table they prepared, then based the synthesis on it.

On the other hand, the other example started by following information from different sources, as well as reading and understanding the text found in the source they followed. After which, they highlighted the parts or information which they think is important.

They both based their succinct syntheses on the whatever they have read and highlighted from the different sources they had.

2. The first example presented the gathering information from various sources in a tabular method, arranged according to the source and main point of each choice. The synthesis itself was presented in a short single paragraph in which all the main thoughts of the different sources were combined.

Meanwhile, the second example presented the information from various sources in a paragraph method, wherein they would highlight the vital details.

The synthesis itself was basically their highlighted notes properly phrased and organized into one coherent essay comprised of six paragraphs.

Generally, the information presented was detailed and comprehensive while giving relevant information to all the sources they had for the topic. The author synthesized the sources through emphasizing only the main context of the sources. The synthesis is very thorough because the author explained the text very well.
