All but 3rd grade will have new texts within the first 2 units, though all of the 1st 2 units will be similar to what they had before. A little bit of new to get started but not overwhelming.

I think that for districts who did AMplify this year will want to use a lot of the learning and internalization they did this year and bring it into next year. For the new units, it will be important to remind teachers that it is okay if internalization takes longer because they are internalizing with a different purpose - to learn the material - and they won't have the context from last year that they do with the other units, and that is okay!

Seamless and constant communication using the same messaging and language is critical for program purposes. LEAs have options in 3rd to add skills as well as determine ideologiy in teaching since some are opposed. There is so much more going on here than just a TEKS aligned curriculum.

The sheer amount of information teachers and product advisors need to internalize is overwhelming. Teachers new to this will have an extremely difficult time. Product Advisors need to be cognizant of how to support beyond internalizaing the lesson. We are talking philosophical shifts in how students learn as well.

Time has always been a technical challenge, especially if a district imposes "extras" or other additions to the materials. I foresee some struggles with master schedules and making sure that teachers have the time they need to implement the curriculum materials.

I think the product advisor materials/PD decks need more deep dives with foundational skill components. Most of the previous decks were just focused on knowledge and Foundational skills must take a front seat to ensure we are getting all students fluently reading by end of 2nd grade.
