And in the meadow, there was a hay barn. but for the past few years, he had very little hay because it was eaten down to the very ground. The man grew weary. So he told his three sons that one of them has to sleep in the hay barn and stop what ever is happening.
The eldest went first. There was a huge earthquake so he ran up the hill frightened. Then all hay hay was eaten up. The same happened to the middle son. Except for the youngest. The next year was Boots, the youngest. His brother teased him that he would be frightened. But something unexcpected happened. When the earthquake happened, he did not run up the hill. Instead he stayed and the next morning, he found a golden armor, a golden saddle and a horse left behind.
When he got home, hi brothers laughed. He told the whole story but still, they laughed.
This happened many times. But then one day, he heard that a king's daughter could marry any fine night but, under one condition, they have to reach the daughters hand when she is seated in the tip-top of a glass hill. Three nights could make it but coudn't touch her hand. Except for one. when that night took of his helmet, it was Boots! Then everyone celebrated. And Boot's brothers apologised.
Most interesting part: When the golden armor, saddle and horse was left.
New vocabulary words: Fine, brass, yard
Part i did not like: i did not like the part when Boot's brothers were laughing at him
Favourite quote: "here is the first, the second and third one my majesty!"
New things i learned: dont judge a book by its cover.
Rating: 5/5
