No pregnancy resulted, and the woman has been sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in federal prison. </div>]]></description>

Many women were forced to marry Khmer Rouge members, and were then repeatedly raped and forced to carry their children. Many of the perpetrators of these crimes have not been tried for their actions. In fact, forced pregnancy was not recognized as a crime against humanity until 1998, long after the events occurred. </div>]]></description>
