          If there was a time machine, I want to go back to the time when I was young, the time when I didn't think about any problems, it was time when I only thought about how I would beat my friends on the piko, how I would escape from my grandmother when I take a nap at noon so I can play, how can I ask my grandmother for two pesos to buy jolly from the neighbor. I want to go back to that time because it was just fun, I didn't think too much about problems, I wasn't too stressed about academics because someone was teaching or even helping me with it. I want to go back to the time when I was young because at that time I was cursing because I injured my knee. I want to go back to that time to re-experience the things I can't do now that I'm seventeen. To play hide and seek, piko, pogs, and catching beetles to tie them with yarn. Play tinda tindahan and the money we use is leaves, and making a house with blankets.           If there was a time machine, I want to go back to the time when dad was still here. I want to go back to that time so that I can make the most of the times I can be with him. I would always stop them from going to Cavite so I could be with them. I want to go back to that time so I can feel the feeling of having a father again, father who is always there for you, who will buy you the things you want, who will make you a baby, who will tell you a story so that you fall asleep at night. I want to go back to that time so that I can feel again the joy we always had when we were together, the way I cried when he took me to Cavite for a vacation. And of course, I want to go back to that time because I miss him. I want to feel that he will hold me, that we will play, that he will teach me to cook, and, of course, because I want to see him again.

             If there was a time machine, I want to go back to  the time when my grandfather was still alive. I want to go back to that time so I could take care of him when he was still there. I hope I made him happy, and I'm always there by his side when he needs me. I want to go back to the times we played and the times he taught me in my school activities. It's time for him to drop me off at school, pick me up when I get home, and give me money to buy what I want. It's time for my grandmother to pick him up for a drink, even though he doesn't really drink. Times when he defends me when grandma curses me, times when we have fun together, and times when we fight over the remote because he always wants to watch the news. I want to go back to relive the times we spent together. When he was still there and we ate together, he would give me his dish even though he was gone. And, times that we play with my other cousins.
