Motors located around the patients waist control cables and sensors located on a sleeve place on the calf and insole. Ankle plantarflexion and dorsiflexion are assisted during physical therapy allowing the foot to clear the ground instead of dragging, therefore, reducing falls and joint stress. The patient is able to ambulate unassisted and further using the ReStore exosuit while training with a licensed PT.    
        The benefits of The ReStore clearly out weigh the risks associated with it's use. The exosuit is a magnificent invention that will allow increased mobility of thousands of people affected by stroke. Hopefully, this is only the first of many similar inventions that give hope to those who have lost their ability to function post stroke.
