In excel 2013 I can make cells show up in a different color if it is less than, greater than, equal to, and between for numbers. I can find these types of conditional formatting under home, and in the styles box, there is conditional formatting. If I wanted to use it I would first highlight the cells I would do it on then click conditional formatting. If I wanted excel to highlight cells that are greater than some number I would click highlight cell rules and click greater than.
