As a group we selected this as an EIL material because we believe each culture has different ways of greeting. Even though this is a common thing we do everyday, gestures in each country differs from each other. Greetings, despite different cultures, when used in English , brings everyone together at a common point.

This book has limited EIL activities. This is one of the most appropriate activity in the book. Because it provides different aspects and povs from different cultures.
