This reminded me of the plants in my class. The kids are responsible for watering them and while they inevitably get droopy/sad a few times each year, they always come back. I keep them to show kids what I mean when I tell them growth is not linear.

The school I work at uses what we call RTI forms to track the implementation of accommodations/interventions and the students' responses but we never talk about tiers. I could see the benefits to dividing the services provided into categories, so I'm wondering if there are benefits to not thinking in terms of tiers.
