Students should be encouraged to speak their natives languages in school and at home. I completely agree with this. So I decided to increase my use of Spanish in class. I am going to try and speak more sentences twice. Just to let my kiddos hear

The presenter asked what additional training we would like in the future. I asked for something on how to teach for a more diverse population in our school, which is not so diverse. For now, I plan to continue to get to know my students better and show real interest in their backgrounds and cultures that they share with me.
