You will complete a slide show over The Pearl.

Whenever we have workdays, you will have the opportunity to work on the slides. The columns will have directions for each slide for your project.

The finished slideshow will be due on Friday March 13th. It will be turned in on Google Classroom.

This project will be graded in the 25% Project category.

I will be deducting 10 points for each slide that is incomplete.

If you have any capitalization, spelling or punctuation errors, you cannot receive higher than a 90.

Create a title slide that includes the name and author of the book.

Use these directions to create the Kino Family Crest slide:

Create a family crest that represents Kino's family's values, traditions, or history.
Include symbols that have personal meaning. For example, if Kino's family values bravery, you might draw a lion. Explain the symbolism of each symbol you choose. Yes, you write in full sentences.

Kino (and his culture in general) has a strong connection to music. Song is connected to his emotions, and when he feels a certain way, he hears the song for that emotion in his head.
Your job is to think about songs that connect to your feelings or represent the feelings you had during different moments in your life. You need at least 5 songs.
On your “Song Slide”, list the name of song and artist (or link it if possible), and write one-two complete sentences for each song, defining how it connects to your life.
