This map is important because, it is where Curzon fights. I remember he had a parade in the street. It was a grand parade, where it is soldiers marching. This is an army area. It is a much bigger space than I had imagined. This map shows that Valley Forge is the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Now that I see this it makes much more sense. He was on the Pennsylvania side of Valley Forge, which was a a very Patriotic state, unlike New Jersey which was a British state. This is why this Map is important to my book.

This infographic about frostbite and hypothermia, shows how to avoid, spot, and treat frostbite. This relates to my book because in the winter, this was a problem that many soldiers had. Many of them got frostbite. At one point in the book Curzons boots were taken away from him. Curzon was lucky enough to not get frostbite, but he did worry about it. It also shows how difficult it was for them to not get frostbite. The soldiers had not a lot of supplies and as you can see they could need a ton of protection. Like it is to protect, it was not easy to treat either. Without the right materials, it was command to just suffer the frostbite. Unlike that, Curzon knew how to spot it. It was an important key to living out in the woods in the winter, as a soldier. That is why this infographic relates to my book. BY HELA

This picture of Washington and Lafayette at Valley Forge, really creates an image of what Curzon and his friends were dealing through. I know that a great portion of the book was Curzon in the army. Also the story takes place in the winter time. The soldiers look cold and very hungry. Now I have an idea of what the huts are. Curzon lived in a hut every night, and one time he almost got in trouble for doing his business next to his hut. There was a rule that you have to take at least ten spaces from your hut to do your business. This picture also shows what the soldiers are wearing. The clothes on their bodies look much too cold for the weather they're in. This is why this picture is important to my book. BY HELA
