It is fried ripe plantains. The procedure for Plàtànos Fritos is take ripe plantains and cut them in half. Cut the peel off. Put the peel aside. Take a cutting board and a knife and cut into thin long pieces. Take a pan and put a quarter cup of oil in it. Put it on medium high and place the plantains on the pan.. Cook until they are lightly brown and flip them over. Continue cooking them until the other side is brown. Put the peel on the plate and put the finished plantains on there. Then place the oher half of the peel on there to keep them fresh.
