He promised that he would overthrow strong and powerful governments. He tried to fix farming problems by increasing the output of crops, this made farmers work even harder. Mao divided jobs and roles to make everyone equal. The government, ordered by Mao, put an end to private land ownership.

Peasants were furious and resisted, and in some cases, destroyed crops. This lead to chaos and fury among farm workers.

It made China nearly fall from disaster. The Red Guards supported Mao during the revolution. This lead to the close fall of China and it continued till Mao's death.
