Appreciate it lots when you helped to make sure students who had done the T2 Wk 1 Check-in surveys pressed "Submit" last Monday.

• Acknowledge parents' effort in bringing up the child.

Deeper - 1-1 conversations before morning assembly or during recess.

Process incident with student. Student to verbalise antecedent, behaviour and what he can do instead next time. Work together on a consequence.

Timely parental engagement within the day - especially if it's physical.

Always start with a positive, then introduce AFG.

Call for the more 'sensitive' cases as parents may misconstrue our tone in an email or text.

Essentially, it provides a safe space for them to share their truest thoughts to the teacher as a confidante, thereby enhancing tsr and improving the students’ academia.

It helps to forge and strengthen tsr for sure and thereby improving their academics. 👍🏻

My co-form and i have yet to use the snacks provided because our students don’t require them thus far. However, we will start to explore using the snacks in the weeks ahead for a more palatable conversation.
