         <description><![CDATA[<p><a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="#_ftn1">[1]</a>The cardiovascular system, also known as the circulatory system, is responsible for transporting blood, nutrients, oxygen, Carbon dioxide and hormones throughout the body. It consists of the heart, blood vessels (arteries, veins and capillaries), and blood. The heart pumps oxygenated blood into the body's tissues and organs and returns deoxygenated blood to the lungs for oxygenation. This system is vital for maintaining homeostasis, supporting immune function and delivering essential nutrients to cells for energy production. Regular cardio exercises help lower blood pressure, reduce bad cholesterol (LDL), increase good cholesterol (HDL), and improve blood flow, which reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, cardio fitness boosts overall endurance, helps manage weight, improves mental health, and enhances the body’s ability to use oxygen, keeping muscles and organs functioning optimally.
