After hearing what Lety and company were talking about their organization FUNDENL, it made us realize how hard it is to lose somebody like that. Some of the examples that they mentioned was that some of the people that disappeared were founded in holes in the ground that were very deep, as well as people were taken to to "new works" in the fields and got disappered. The media sometimes told lies about what happened to the cases that were disappeared, they stated that in case of being a women it could have been because of the boyfriend, and in the case of a men it could be because he was with his friends and disappeared. The government as well bothered these women when they were putting their labels in "Plaza del centro de Monterrey", but as mentioned by the 3 womans, everybody has the right to make an action to speak for other people and help them. The media mostly will hurt yourself since, normally the media uses false news to get more views, but at the end of the day what is right what the people that were present in that moment tell the people, not what the media says.

In this scene there are brief interviews with moms of missing people. Here the moms explain what they are doing and who they are searching. In their shirts you can see a picture of the person they are looking for. Here the media with their interview are trying to get sympathy out of the viewer, and trying to get the people to learn more of the stories of the missing people and putting a face to the problem instead of just showing a statistic where people might look at it and give it no second thought. With a face to the problem people will pay attention to what is happening and how they could help stop this from happening any more. With this scene we can see the medias influence by seeing people who are suffering from this problem and instead of reporting facts and statistics we see how this problem is hurting thousands of people in the country.

In this article there is a lack of victim representation. They talk about the missing people, but they don't talk about testimonies and about what the family thinks. They only mention the disappearances like if they where just another statistic. The article omits from sensationalism because it is a very delicate topic, but there could be more context about the forced disappearances and the danger the search groups face.

Here there is a slight bias in favor of the people missing and their families there is no revictimization because they state the facts the families have stated. They in the video they often criticise the government and fiscalia for not doing anything to find the victims and how their method of finding the missing people is wrong. They treat every single case as if it were isolated even though they were abducted in the same manner over and over again. There is sensetionalitim in this TikTok with quick cuts and interesting animations to capture the viewers attention and get more views so it must be expected that there might be more sensationalism than a normal news article.

This video uses pictures and strong language to make people realize how serious this problem really is, you might mistake this by trying to make a point but it is sensationalism at its core. In this video there is a lot of victim representation, you are told by family members what happend to the victims. This gives a human face to the problem. This interview does follow some of the governments narrative but when it is time for the families to talk about what happened to their loved ones you can see a whole shift in the interview.

The 2 ways to participate that we believe that suit better are the Innovation and Service. The connection that they had with Lety Hidalgo's confernce is that, with the Innovation they provide problem solving and the social solutions. They provide the problem solving with the way they act in the "Plaza del centro" telling people the problem and providing ways to get to a solution. Also the social solitions they had were that they provided investigations to know were the people where at. They found people in pits in the ground. The other way to participate is the Service, Lety and her team really volunteer to found people they didn't even know, as well as finidng their love ones. They also made the program FUNDENL with is the organization they made to show awarness to find all of the people that disappeard.

Mrs. Lety has created a positive change by speaking about the topic in a civilized way. As she said on the conference, countless people are on the same situation as her. The mission is clear, spread awareness and make people engaged with this delicate topic. If Mrs. Lety didn't stated to give talks to people or didn't join a group of people who are on the same situation as her, a negative changed could've occur. So answering the question briefly, yes, her actions are accurate and making this a positive change occured.

Two members of a Mexican search group were tragically killed recently, after helping uncover one of the "fosas" of human remains in Teuchitlán, Jalisco. Carmen Morales and her son Jaime Ramírez were volunteers for the search group “Guerreros Buscadores”. This is a group formed by families and friends of missing people, who help find the missing people or, in the worst case, their remains. They had found what some are calling a "ranch of horror", where it’s believed many bodies were dumped. Sadly, they had been threatened before – now both are gone.
