She is ALWAYS trying to help our Crockett students become better scholars and humans. Not only does she do this, but she also has to deal with the freshmen, so there's an added challenge there as well.

You are rocking it, and just keep handling these challenges like a pro!

So much energy! Her presence is always a boost, no matter what time of day she pops in! She is also one heck of an advocate for our SPED students in our PLC, and is overall a rockstar teacher! Love having her around, and would honestly go crazy without her.

Thank you for being advocates for your team and ready to jump in and help with any and all things to make our campus great- from sorting STAAR tickets to planning PD or learning walks, I am grateful for all of your leadership.

Thank you all for engaging in the work to combine AP and On-level teams to raise the rigor for all students. This work has been challenging, and I appreciate the vulnerability and willingness to try you all have shown this year. Hard work is work worth doing!

You all have had to do the heaviest lifting for the TEA order, and have handled it all with such grace and a "let's just do it" attitude. I appreciate that we are rarely if ever on the non-compliant list. We are a model for how we can push LRE to provide challenging experiences for all students and not let them be limited by labels. There is a reason that families transfer to Crockett specifically to be supporting by our SPED Department. Y'all rock!

And on a personal note, my girls are lucky to get to learn here at Crockett, not just about academics, but also about themselves and the kind of people they want to be in this world. Ogg, P, Chapa, McGraw and Flores - I have been in the AVID world my whole career and when I say dream team, I truly mean it. Most don't get to see what happens in an AVID classroom day in and day out, but the entire campus trusts you completely to make us a National Demonstration level program because of who y'all are. You love all kids, work hard, raise the bar, and support every kid in meeting that high bar for their futures. We are so lucky to have y'all!!

You are The Knower of All Things! Being in this office with you these last few months have been CRAZY but so much laughter has bounced between our desks. Seeing your interactions with the counselors, APs, and students, all those different personalities that you juggle so effortlessly. You are truly a gem! Love you lady! You welcoming and loving behavior has made me love you from the start! You are one of my favorite people! You allowed me into your space and shared it with me. You helped Rose get bragging cred with all the 4th graders cuz "she's got the hook up with Ms. J at the High school library" OMG all the hosting of advisories you did for me, you helped me more than anybody lol I think you subbed just as much as my subs lol 1-3 classes at any given time. You are phenomenal! Thank you so much for being so great to me.

Communities in Schools ❤️ so many students I've seen on the brink of whatever situation, in need of a safe space to just be...Ya'll made the most cosiest and welcoming space to/for every manifestation of the Crocket ECSH Student! Seeing you in action, helping parents, students and families, while trying to be inconspicuous ❤️ You are so humble and loving while doing what you do. Helping to educate our Crockett parents of all types of health awareness. You are simply a phenomenal woman and I need you to know that even though you try to stay behind the scenes when you out here being great... I see you sis! You my dear are most definitely one of a kind. I have witnessed you deal with student after student after student after student while sitting through hours of court and advocating for these students. I've had parents in tears come into this office only wanting to speak with you because they knew that you would do whatever you could to help them and their student. You are selfless, and you are loving to all who come in contact with you. Your balance is so refreshing, because as loving as you are, you can get with worst of them lol and still smile afterwards. You need and award or plaque or something, but for now please take this thank you and know that I love and appreciate you 💕

Let's face it, ya'll clock in, by choice, and do the job none of us envy. Ya'll some bad mofo's mann! I appreciate you all!

Thank you for not just teaching whats required by cirriculum standards but for also attempting to teach respect, hard work and practice, critical thinking, financial literacy, admit mistakes, compassion, honesty, kindness, family and friendship, accepting disappointment, taking responsibility for their actions, good hygiene practices, time management, reading and comprehension, awareness of surroundings, focus and self-control, problem-solving, knowing how to ask for help, basic communication skills, among many other things that do not fall within a teacher's job description. But you all show up daily to teach these kiddos. I thank you for every moment you wanted to walk out and did not. I thank you for every moment you realized why you became a teacher. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
