When I was younger, I did not plan on being a teacher. I thought I wanted to be an elephant trainer that taught elephants how to paint! I always loved school, but never thought about becoming a teacher until I was in high school, when I realized how much I loved teaching and being around kids. I also realized that the skills that I am naturally good at like organization are good skills for teachers to have.

I am a first year elementary education major at the University of Arkansas! I hope to get my masters degree here with a focus in reading/dyslexia. I want to teach third grade, and move back to my hometown of Little Rock, AR after I graduate. Outside of school, I am involved in my sorority, AOII, and my college ministry, The Wesley! So far I LOVE the University of Arkansas and some of my favorite things are gamedays. the tulips, and my sweet friends!

If all went according to plan, I graduated from the UofA with my masters in 2028 and am now teaching third grade in Little Rock and coaching lacrosse! I bet I had the best time during the rest of college. I hope y'all are as excited as I am to start this school year off strong and learn so much!
