Also, students are sent a Practice Log weekly.  Students fill out how many minutes they practice for the week and what they learned/need improvement on.  They get a parent signature through Google Docs to verify they practice at home, then they submit it to me.

Technology also shows me new ways students can demonstrate their knowledge and opens up a plethora of new ways to create projects.
