From Sir Kato class, we have to fully utilize the human resources which shown that aging society in Malaysia are more faster than Japan experienced. So we should create new criteria of aging society and consider several dimension of aging society which improve productivity.

From Miss Beatrice class, migration can gives advantages and disadvantages. The advantages is some sectors depend on migrants. Sectors such as construction, agriculture, cleaning and domestic work because this jobs paid lower salary and mostly job is difficult. Migrants less likely complaint jobs condition. The disadvantages is migrant also bring negative impact where mostly they do not integrate with local people and also shadow population which disconnected from normal pattern of community life and known as social ill.

Course International Human Resource Economics show us about how aging society can reflect to whole economy of the country. Based on what i learn from Professor Kato, Japan has more ageing society. It may affect Japan economy in the future. Beside that, Malaysia also need to find solution to avoid, our country to face the same problem like Japan. Based on the average, in 70 years later Malaysia also will face aging society.

In addition, this course also show to us about how migration take part in order to increase country GDP and productivity as well. Migration give negative and positive impact to country that involve.
By having the migrant, we can fulfill the labor shortage leave by native workers.
Not only that, company will spend less cost if their hired foreign workers especially the irregular workers.
But, it also give negative impact to society, fiscal and economics of the country.
So that, i can conclude that, migrant actually help a lot as laborers. They also take part to increase our country productivity. But, if the number of migrant worker become higher, it also can be a burden to the country as well.

There is so many knowledge that i learning from course International Human Resource economic. From Sir Kato class show that how aging society can reflect the whole economy especially in Japan. The aging of Japan is thought to outweigh all other nations, as the country is purported to have the highest proportion of elderly citizens. Not just in rural, but also in urban areas, Japan is experiencing a “super-aging” society.
Therefore, from Miss Beatrice class we learn about migration. Migration is the movement by people from one place to another with the intentions of settling, permanently or temporarily in a new location. The movement is often over long distances and from one country to another, but internal migration is also possible and indeed, this is the dominant form globally.
Migration give positive and negative impact to country that involve.

In this International Human Resource Economics course what I could conclude from Sir Kato class, actually it is the first time I know and concern about the aging society in Malaysia and Japan. The birthrate is declining and to increase the population some ways have to be done. Total fertility rate that declined in Malaysia is effecting the society and economic where organization should play the important role for improvement in total fertility rate., programs such as sexuality and reproductive health can be made within women. Family planning and education program is need to be emphasized especially for young Malaysian to making choices about their own lives where they should consider for their own future society. The population need to be stabilize to get improvement of total fertility rate.

As for Miss Beatrice class, migration take forms in positive and negative impact to our society and economic. Migrants can help to fulfill the sector that need more employees. Moreover, for company that want to get cheap labor, it is affordable to employ them. But as for negative impact, they are irregular migration too that mostly illegal. It could be harmful to our country and society. So, egal channels of migration to economically developed countries should be expanded in order to address the problem of illegal migration comprehensively.

Besides that, this course helps me to understand more about the migration of labor inside or outside of country which because of many factor and positive and negative impact to the country involve. Next, we can know a many type of migration which is the illegal and irregular.Other than that, I have learned about the remittance which is a more stable than foreign direct investment or foreign portfolio investments.

From this International Human Resources course what can i get from Sir Kato class is about raging society. Japan has become an aged society. Other Asian countries seem to be following Japan's raging process. Young generation in Asian countries have to study when and how their countries will be aging in the future. Then, how we considered about the impact of aging. Furthermore, Asian nations are rapidly aging. Then, we need to study how to fully utilize the human resources. However, Sir also touch about the relation between elderly and youth in labor market. Thus, it has the advantages of senior citizen employment.

From Miss Beatrice class, i get to know about the migration. Migration have it advantages and disadvantages. In this class, we had cover the migration, mobility and efficiency. From the migration, people mobile from one country to the other country, from one state to the other state, from rural to the urban area. Thus, this can increase both country efficiency. Then, i also know about the remittances. From migration, people who are mobile from one country to the other country had make the remittances. Remittances means people who are migrated will send money back to their own country. Thus, this can give benefit for both country. This because, wages that been paid to the foreign worker was much cheaper. Then, about the irregular migration. Irregular migration was give same definition with legal migration. Thus, it has pro and cons effect to the irregular migration.

We could knew that it is different from the foreign direct investment and foreign portfolio investment and remittance is low risk than the investments.

International Human Resource Economics course bring a lot of new knowledge for me. I've learn about aging society which an important topic that I don't even know know before. Through this course I can gain lots of knowledge about this issue that been presented by Prof Iwao Kato. This issue really open my eyes how important it is to our future society and for our country by taking Japan as an example. There are many ways been taken to faces this problem which one of them by increasing the fertility rate or birth rate of the country. This issue not only happen is Japan but it is coming to our country. It is undeniable that Malaysia already taken many ways to facing this issue that might be not gives a direct impact in the short run but it will affect in the future. Government have been introducing new incentive to the society in 2018 budget which is Amanah Dana Anak Malaysia 2050 (ADAM50). This is an initial savings fund worth RM200 in unit trusts, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) for children that born on 1 January 2018 until 2022. It is one of the incentives that encourage the new couples or parents to having more child in the future that can contribute to the increasing of the fertility rate.
Instead of that, I also learn about how important of the migration issue in our country. Since our country is one of the country that receive a lot of immigrants , it is a great opportunity to having such course that enable us to learn what is happening around our society.

I know from our courses the problem of population aging and child-rearing, Japan's worst. The phenomenon of aging has brought about a series of social problems. In addition to the social and economic vitality, the problems of the elderly and medical care are becoming more prominent. The Japanese government is racking its brains to deal with the increasingly serious aging society. I found that in China, the process of aging is gradually accelerating and China has become the country with the largest population of the elderly in the world. This must arouse the vigilance of each of us, as aging will have an impact on our lives.

Now i have totally understand about aging society and migration. I have learned the causes and consequences of these 2 topics. Aging society could bring a lot of problem to the country. For example, government has to spend more money to the elderly. So, the government has to think of countermeasures to solve this problem. While migration, there has 2 side, whether good or bad. Hence, government should handle this topic wisely. Lastly, don't ever underestimate these two because they can bring a massive impact to your country, it is not only government responsibility but is ours.

In addition, the course also discusses the movement of people in a country, whether lawfully and illegally, as well as policies that have been set by a country.

From this International Human Resources course I can learnt about the how the aging society will affect the economy of the country. Japan has become an aged society, other Asian countries seem to be following Japan’s aging process. It is important for young generation in Asian countries to study when and how their countries will be aging in the future which teached by Sir Kato. As, Asian nations are rapidly aging, fully utilization of the human resources without waste of human capitalization. The aging society will bring a lot of impact to the country. For instance, government need to spend more money for elderly such as Pension, Health Care and Nursing Care. Therefore, the government need to think alternative solution to cope with these problem.

Besides that, I also learnt about the migration. Migration have the advantage and disadvantage. We also learnt about the migration, mobility and efficiency from the class of Dr. Beatrice. In this chapter, I get to know how the legal or illegal migration will affect to the country. I also gained the knowledge about the remittances. Remittances means the foreign worker transfer money to his or her home country, it brings pros and cons. The pros is increase of income in households and consumption; while, the cons is loss of human capital which will lowers productivity and affect the economic growth. In addition, I learnt about migrants in society, the large and rising numbers of immigrants due to entering of advanced industrial societies, at the same time that many of these societies are faced with immense structural changes, which includes economic, demographic, and technological. Last but not least, I have studied about the irregular migration and its impact. The irregular migration includes coercion, illegal entry, exploitation, entrepreneurial irregular migration, migrant smuggling and trafficking in persons. On the other hand, the impact of irregular migration which includes impact on labour market, structure of the economy, fiscal, social and policy challenge. The irregular migration cause a lot of negative effect to the countries, thus the government should strengthened policies in their country.

From the class of Sir Kato, I learned that the aging society in Malaysia is walking at a same path with Japan. It is quite surprising to know that our society is getting aging soon. Japan indeed are facing an aging society. They had make a solution to solve the problems, which is hire the senior citizens. Japan society thinks the senior citizens can provide same productivity as the younger workers. While the most interesting point is that senior citizens are willing to participate in social activities and have confidence. Many older workers feel they are no longer "burdened" with society. So, it is advisable for Malaysia to consider the employability of socially unused human resources such as senior citizens, women and handicapped people. This is the important action for Malaysia to prepare for the future aging countries. Besides, Malaysia also has a great potential to overcome the key issues of an aging society. Malaysia is rich in human resources, rich in natural resources, geographical advantages and cultural diversity. Malaysians can use their "assets" to thrive in the global economy.

From the class of Miss Beatrice, I learned that migration, irregular migration and remittance. Migration refers to Movement of people to a new area or country in order to find work or better living conditions. There are several factors that drive migration. These factors included growing development, demographic and democratic disparities, global job crisis, segmentation of labor markets, the communication and transportation revolutions, migration network and lastly the new rights and entitlements. Furthermore, irregular migration involves coercion, illegal entry, exploitation, migrant smuggling and trafficking in persons. On the other hand, remittance is the transfer of money by a foreign worker to his/her home country. It brings some advantages and disadvantages to the society. For example, it helps to reduce poverty. It also increases of income in households, also increase consumption. The weakness of remittance are the loss of human capital lowers productivity and economic growth. Migration of skilled workers worsens the distribution of income between rich and poor countries.

First and foremost , i would like to express my gratitude to Prof Kato and Dr Beatrice for the knowledge that have been passed down to us. through this course i learnt about aging sociey that occurs iin Japan and never did i know that Malaysia is also in line with Japan as we are going to be an agiing society too if the fertility rate or birth rate is not increasing.

i also learnt about migration during Dr Beatrice lecture, and it widens my view for migration because actually migration (immigrants) also have positive impacts which it contributes to the GDP . all this while, i only think about the negative impacts that occurs because of the immigrants. there are also many types of migration that i've been taught.

overall, i enjoyed this class! :) thank you my dear lecturers .
