It’s snowy outside in this part of Germany. The temperature hits the sweet spot for a nice afternoon nap, which is excruciatingly tempting for a tired university student like me. However, I am determined to fight this urge and study for my upcoming high-stakes exam. You’ll see in the photo below that I’m set to start my first session with the help of my study buddy Carl, my very own make-shift standing table and a cup of nice warm tea :)) It might seem very luxurious just for a study session, but I’d say: go all out, if I am aiming for success!

Along with this post, I’d like to pledge myself to maintain a consistent and healthy sleep schedule every day (sleep by 9pm, active by 6am). I’ll make my bed each morning in order to not crawl right back into slumber. I commit myself to establishing successful study habits that would make me the best student and future medical physician I can be.

Hello everyone. I am a stay-at-home-mom with two toddlers and I try to study early in the morning after one of the toddlers wake up at 05:30. I would prepare him for the day and let him up for free play while I study with whatever time I have until the other toddler wakes up, usually 90 minutes later. My work space is the dining table in our kitchen. I am hoping to improve my study techniques in learning the Dutch language, culture and society.

This is my study area, I do use my laptop for online classes and I always have my planner near me and my clipboard for writing my notes.
