Movement Russia has many ways to get from one place to another.</em></strong></div><ul><li><strong><em>Airports- 1,213 in use in 2010.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>50 Heliports in 2010.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Railways: 87,157 km and 30,000 km of non-common carrier service industries.</em></strong></li></ul><div><strong><em>Roadways total: 940,000 km Waterways 102,000 km. <br>72,000 km systems in European Russia link the Baltic Sea, White Sea, Caspian Sea, Sea of Azov and the Black Sea as of 2007. Russia is abundant in natural resources, leaders have found it difficult to properly manage these resources. </em></strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><strong><em>Vast plains cover most of Russia’s territory. The Eastern European (Russian) Plain, replete with low plateaus is found in western Russia. The Mid-Siberian plateau, which is gradually transformed into the Central Yakut plain, can be found between two rivers, the Yenisei and the Lena.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Mountain ranges are mostly located in Russia’s eastern regions and in some of its southern areas, as well. The Ural mountain range, for one, constitutes a natural boundary separating European and Asian Russia. Various mountain ranges making up the northern slope of the Greater Caucasian mountain range are located in southern Russia. Another mountain chain, including the Altai range, is to be found in southern Siberia. The Kamchatka mountains (including some active volcanoes) stretch along the Pacific coast.</em></strong></li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

It is the richest country in raw material and 20% of the worlds' production of oil and natural gas comes from Russia. The European part of Russia offered coal and natural gas.&nbsp;</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Iron ore, manganese, chromium, nickel, platinum, titanium, copper, tin, lead, tungsten, diamonds, phosphates, and gold.&nbsp;</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>The forest of Siberia contain 1/5 of the worlds timber. Iron ore are from Kurtis Magnetic Anomaly and Kola Peninsula, Aurelia.&nbsp;</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Copper deposits from Kola Peninsula and the Urals and the Far-east. Lead and zinc are found in North Ossetia. There rest are found in mines.</em></strong></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><strong><em>The Trans-Siberian Railway spans almost all the way across the county, making it the single longest railway in the world. The 9200 kilometer railway departs in Moscow and crosses into Asia.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>The country is home to the largest McDonald's restaurant in the world. With 700 seats. A larger building, seating 1,500, was constructed for the 2012 Olympics in London.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>There are approximately 10 million more women in Russia than there are men. The imbalance was initially believed to the result of so many men dying during World War II.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>In Russia, men never give an even amount of flowers to a women. It is considered bad luck and is associated with funerals.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Russia is the largest country in the world by area. It’s total area is 17,075,400 square kilometers and it covers more than a ninth of the Earth’s land area.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>The area of the land in Russia is 1.8 times larger than the total size of the United States.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Moscow has more billionaire residents than any other city in the world.</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Moscow’s amazing metro system is the fastest means of transport. During rush hour, trains are scheduled for every 90 seconds. It is estimated that over 9 million passengers ride the Metro every day. The Metro of St. Petersburg is also the deepest subway in the world, clocking in at a whopping 100m deep.</em></strong></li></ul>]]></description>
