The first day of high school was good because I got to come with 2 of my best friends and was able to make good memories and have fun. I also got to see some people I hadn't seen since elementary like Kennedi and I was surprised because I didn't think I would see her again. I even liked some of my classes but I still had to change some and get used to being in a bigger environment and different people. Being at DR made me more independent and kind of showed me who my real friends are because sometimes being with the wrong people cannot be good and start problems and distract you from being focus or sometimes makes you not happy. DR is different from other schools because of the views on campus and were surrounded by mountains and plants which I kinda like because it sometimes can be peaceful.

Traveling

My first trip in 2024 was going to Las Vegas in the summer. My grandma and uncle also came with me, my mom, dad, sister, and dog. It took 3/4 hours to get there and we got to see a lot of land and different cities and lights. When we got to Las Vegas we got a hotel and stayed for 2 days going to the pool and the Vegas strip. It was a fun experience because it was a lot of stuff to do and it looked like New York. After we went home a month later we went to San Diego to go to the zoo. But while we were on our San Diego trip we got in a pretty bad car crash no one was hurt but we had a rental and the back part of the bumper came off and the car spun around the whole freeway but my Dad was able to stop the car from flipping over. Overall traveling with my family was fun and I got to see different things.

Birthday 9/26

This year of my birthday kinda was the best year of 2024 because I went to Six Flags and Universal Studios. I went to Six Flags with my best friend from school and my cousins from my mom's side. Then, Universal was with my mom's best friend and my childhood best friend, who I used to live across the same building while living in LA. Then me my family and I went to Bosa Nova restaurant in DTLA and they have the best pasta better than Olive Garden. I also got a couple of gifts which were clothes and gift cards.

8th grade

8th grade wasn't my best school year but I actually had a solid group of 3 friends and we were close to the office assistant Mrs Michelle. When we'd be hungry she would buy us crazy puffs from Little Caesars and McDonald's so we wouldn't starve throughout the day. Me and my group had a lot of fun together it is what made school more enjoyable. We'd always joke and play fight and people thought we'd actually be fighting but that's how our relationship was. Throughout the year we had each other backs and were also able to all graduate together

Sleepover with my cousin

My last top moment was when my younger cousin came all the way to Landcaster to Pomona to spend time with me because I barely see her. I mostly see her if I go to church in LA or my granny's house but we never actually do fun stuff together. She stayed for about 3 days and we went bowling, to the movies, mall, and even got our nails done. This was the best because I love spending time with my family and my cousins I barely get to see them because everyone moved kind of far.
