First of all, I feel that when you need to call someone, the telephone booth is better because you have more privacy and you have a more quieter environment. Plus, usually it’s very noisy in the outside environment due to noisy vehicles, people talking loudly and a lot more.

Second of all, I would repurpose it as maybe a mini library or to keep items because the staffrooms in some schools are kind of small and have limited space, so the teachers can move their tables then connect it. After that, they can label each booth and keep their stuff there, in the booth or should I say, mini cabinet. Another idea I have in mind is putting these booths in our classrooms to make it a mini library. Like example, during free time, we can ask our teacher whether we can read at the mini library.

So, in Conclusion this is what I say about these old phone booths. And I don’t know if I’m correct but I think you can still find them in some parts of London.

we would put in the back of every classroom so when you are in a bad mood you can go with permison asking the teacher.

I used to make different types of “things” out of cardboard, paper, plastic and a lot more! I honestly hope that in the future, we can make our planet a better place for everyone.

I would repurpose it by putting it in a air conditioned library so people can see it and relax and enjoy the air conditioned room they can go in the phone booth to sit because I added a bench in it

It could help us focus on some of our personal things like doing some worksheets our parents asked us to do or it could be a time out corner for teachers to use and send bad students in to punish them. It could also be used as a place to call our parents without having to go to the general office. For example, if we got an injury, we could call our parents to pick us up with permission from our teachers.We can also use it in the library as an extra section of books like science fiction and non- fiction!

But now there are morden phones.

I would soundproof the booth and add privacy films onto the glass panels.

Equipped with soft lighting and soothing music, it can be utilised by both students and school staff who need some me-time.

It can be a safe space to recollect oneself, release pent-up emotions (cry, yell, etc.) or even for a short meditation.

I would place the booth at a quiet corner within the school compound so that there can be some privacy.

If our school received a phone booth from the 1970s,I would repurpose it as a “Art Display Booth.” I would put it near the school general office so that everyone could see it.We would decorate it with students drawings,paintings and crafts.Every week,new art could be added.Every month a masterpiece of art would be awarded.This way,students would feel proud of their work and the Display Booth would look colourful.

If a phone booth got donated to our school, I would put it in the back of the school hall so all levels can reach it.

Student can use it to call their parents if they don’t want to tell it to the general office staff member as its private.

I would also make that area more comfortable and put other stuff like books, cushions, and little games for students to play with and when a student feels uncomfortable and they don’t want to go to the calming corner they could bring a friend or a teacher to help them. It could also play music and tell funny jokes to make you feel better.

The phone booth would be used for calling the students parents or in case for an emergency. By the way in the 1970’s, we had to pay 10 or 20 cents for the telephone if we had to call but for our school, we just can use it anytime without any paying. 🤑

Once the phone booth is added, I would like to customise it by adding a wooden door and sound proof walls for privacy.

So how will this phone booth work? It is super easy. First you should tap your card on the card tapper and there will be a mini white board to write the reason you came for. Once you enter, the door will close automatically. So, whatever you speak cannot be heard by others because of the sound proof walls.

2.A music player.Every day during recess students can request a song to be played by writing it down and giving it to a teacher.

And also it provides shelter in case of rain amd provides privacy.

I think the phone booth was created because people needed privacy to call probably their parents or other family members.Also if they wanted using their own phones,it will be quite noisy to communicate.

If their was a phone booth in my school I would use it as a mini art corner.Students can express their creativity and imagination in to their artwork.Also once students are done with their artwork,there will be a machine that will put their work into a frame and they can admire their artwork.

We could also use the phone booth for pupils to chat to each other and a little art corner in the phone booth so the pupils can express their creativity.

Charging Station

A tech-friendly booth where students or teachers can charge devices such as their handphone, airpods, smartwatch and etc.

Needs:

• Power strip with surge protector

• USB charging ports

• Cable organizers

• Ventilation holes

It will also include;

• A stationary organizer that includes pencils and erasers.

• Some paper activities to destress.

• Snacks (For breaks in between studying)
