With reference to Source A, the ICAC held a pessimistic attitude towards corruption. The ICAC is an independent anti-corruption department, purpose being to combat corruption all over Hong Kong. The poster’s heading states that there are many ways to climb the social ladder, and that corruption isn’t a just way in order to rise, and in the sub text, it expressed that no matter your outlook on corruption, it is still an unjust way that harms everyone, showing the ICAC’s distaste towards corruption. Therefore, the ICAC’s attitude is hateful towards corruption.
