At the end of World War 1 in 1929 is known as the "Jazz Age". Jazz had become a popular music style in America. Jazz has a calming sound to it and vary relaxing. Jazz bands typically consist of seven to twelve musicians. They would perform at bars, jazz clubs or other small Venus.

In 1914, several film industries were made. Films became longer and storytelling and so this form became the dominant version.

As more people paid to see movies the industries grew to invest more money in their production, distribution and exhibition, so large studios were established and were known as cinemas. The First World War greatly affected the film industry in Europe, and the American industry grew in relative importance.

The decade started off in 1921 with just 5 radio stations in the country but ended with 606 stations. That is some serious growth!
