A drop of the tear

in diamond shape

between the land,

anywhere space.

Body to earth,

danger trip,

whole—

a magic spiral

towards a warmer and warmer horizon.

I touch this sea

and its roots too.

Rest but keep changing.

—“You have changed.”

—“I hope so.”

The water of the sea

brushes me,

strikes my body,

pushes and shakes.

It fills me with life,

gives me taste,

makes me dance and run,

and weep within it—

to return is to return to myself.

Sometimes life is magical

when you find people who welcome you,

who treat you kindly,

who understand what you feel,

what you’re going through.

Most of all when they respect you,

meet you,

stand by you.

And to have the patience of the waves,

to come and go,

to begin flowing again.

To stop and realize,

move forward,

stop,

don’t stop,

keep going myself,

walk the dream without sleeping.

Because in the end

we all just want to float.

Flow like the sea—

calm or restless,

flow in stillness,

flow in storm.

To understand that growing

is unstable, expansive.

Deep down,

death allows me to fly.

Who are the ones that die?

Finished.

Bodies and bodies,

and more bodies

are falling to the deep,

drawn to the final fall,

till stop.
