For this text type, we culturally expect the message to be short (too long causes a negative reaction), informal register, but polite. We expect a certain move structure which typically includes a greeting, indication of how the interlocuters know each other. Some engagement ( a question, reference to shared experience), possibly a compliment. Possibly an invitation for a face to face meeting?) We expect it to be sent at certain hours of the day.

The primary audience is, in my opinion as well a female in her (?) late teens or early twenties, which is indicated through the question "How's school goin for you?". The secondary, (not intended audience) is "us" and everyone else who watched this specific clip of the Jimmy Fallon Show. However, not specifically stated in the text, I doubt, though the use of lexis and addressing as well, that this text was intended to be read by more than one person.
