Like the name says it's about a building with glass walls and a wall roof. But in the bad way of the word. THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT it's more than a simple building that helps the plants to grow up. Actually it's an enviromental issue that weare presenting nowadays.

Did you notice that are we feeling more and more heat in the clime? This problem it's caused by the greenhouse effect.

he greenhouse effect works much the same way on Earth. Gases in the atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide, trap heat similar to the glass roof of a greenhouse. These heat-trapping gases are called greenhouse gases.

During the day, the Sun shines through the atmosphere. Earth's surface warms up in the sunlight. At night, Earth's surface cools, releasing heat back into the air. But some of the heat is trapped by the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. That's what keeps our Earth a warm and cozy 58 degrees Fahrenheit (14 degrees Celsius), on average.Human activities are changing Earth's natural greenhouse effect. Burning fossil fuels like coal and oil puts more carbon dioxide into our atmosphere.

NASA has observed increases in the amount of carbon dioxide and some other greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. Too much of these greenhouse gases can cause Earth's atmosphere to trap more and more heat. This causes Earth to warm up.

It is only logical that an increase in the world’s population will cause additional strains on resources. More people means an increased demand for food, water, housing, energy, healthcare, transportation, and more. And all that consumption contributes to ecological degradation, increased conflicts, and a higher risk of large-scale disasters like pandemics.  

Air pollution may cause health effects such as respiratory problems, as contaminants are absorbed into the lungs and human tissue.

Ecosystem services are the many and varied benefits that humans freely gain from the natural environment and from properly functioning ecosystems including e.g. forest, grassland, aquatic and agro-ecosystems.

Hazardous substances may enter the soil as water trickles from contaminated sites leaching chemicals, fertilisers or pesticides.
