The inspirational speech reaches out to the student and makes them want to join the college as it helped this girl understand what a business needs to operate.  To makes it better, they can perhaps add more colors for the words to stand out even more since it does look plain. Gateshead college was number one college for four years in a row. instead of just sing that they were 1st for four years ,they instead repeated it four times in order for them to get the message across and make it stick to the viewers head. They also have the bold writing as usual since it is related to their branding. They have their logo in the corner in order to make sure that the people who see this poster know it is Gateshead college . The parents will be interested in this because they care about the status of the college more than the students themselves. Therefore by having it repeated four times, it allows the parents to think positively about the college.

The intranet for the teachers isn't as colourful as the one for the students which is actually a good thing because it almost sends out a message for the teachers that there is work to do.  It is really simple to use because it has all the essential tabs on one side which makes it easy to use for the teachers. The teachers home page also has the strategic plan as well as vision and values tab to remind the teacher what Gateshead college stands for and what their vision is.
