  • Eyes+ears closed  firmly
  • When hungry : make sounds like baby bird
  • Always hungry
  • Drinks milk until 3 months old
  • If mom is hunting: cubs w/out milk for almost whole day
  • When 10 days old much bigger, eyes & ears open
  • 2 months old-mom takes on first outing(seeing outside world)
