Hello! My name is Karen Ortiz and I want to become an elementary teacher. I would like to teach from kindergarten up to third grade. I believe that students success is a reflection on the teacher. This is why I strive to help my future students and create a safe environment where they will be able to flourish. This assignment was our Web design basics.  Here, we talked about how technology should be accessible to everyone, even those with disabilities. For this assignment, it was challenging trying to assign everyone a role since there were so many topics to talk about. In the end, everyone collaborated in their part and got everything done on time.

Assignment 2:
This assignment was particularly difficult as I had missed the class before due to being sick. The same day I came back to class was presentation day, fortunately the professor let me do my own elevator pitch the next class. In this assignment, I choose how social media affects girls mental health. This was a short presentation talking about the effects of what social media can do to children and what we can do to help.
