Accommodations Letter for College Board & ACT

• Students on educational plans may be eligible for testing accommodations through the College Board and/or ACT.

  
  

• While the process can be initiated at any time, the Accommodations Letter is typically sent to eligible families in the fall of sophomore year to arrange accommodations for AP Exams and the PSAT during Step Up Day fall of junior year.

Students must know their College Board username and password.

There will be NO Autofill on exam day. Students need to type their credentials to access Bluebook/AP Exam

Practice logging in before your exam.

Any student who does not comply with the behavior standards may be dismissed from the​ exam.

• All students must fully comply with College Board's Terms and Conditions.

• Academic Honesty: Any form of cheating (including accessing unauthorized materials or communicating with others) will result in the cancellation of scores and potential disciplinary action.

• Follow the Proctor’s Instructions: Students must remain quiet, listen carefully to all instructions, and comply with all procedures.

• Respect and Focus: Please be respectful of others and maintain a quiet, focused environment for yourself and your peers.

  
  

Students are expected to attend all regular classes on exam day, with the exception of their exam time.

Step Up Day is next Wednesday, October 8th at WHS. 

Schedule:

9th and 10th Grade: 1st & 2nd Floors

Intervention: 7:30 AM - 8:55 AM

Green Block: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Advisory: 10:05 AM - 11:30 AM 

• Double-check your Intervention and Green Block locations with your teacher, as some may have changed due to testing.

• 9th grade will report directly to the gym and 10th grade will report directly to the auditorium to meet up with your advisory groups.

11th Grade & 12th Grade: PSAT 3rd Floor/Optional SAT Library

PSAT Registration: open until October 6th

SAT Registration: closed September 12th

Exam Rooms Open: 8:00 AM

Exam Starts: 8:15 AM

Exam ends: 10:45-11:00 AM

IMPORTANT Reminders for Students taking PSAT/SAT Exam:

• Download Bluebook onto your device

• If you need technical help, please stop by the tech department on the 3rd floor by October 3rd.

• ARRIVE ON TIME: we can not let anyone enter the classroom after the exam starts.

• Any student approved for extended time please be sure you have transportation after your exam as you will get out after dismissal time.

• WHAT TO BRING: 

• your FULLY charged testing device

• your ID

•  a pencil

• an approved calculator (College Board Calculator Policy)

• Room assignments will be posted in outside house offices Monday afternoon before Step Up Day.  

• Personal devices will not be allowed for the duration of the exam. Cell/smart phones, smart watches, Fitbits all must be turned off and placed in your backpack.   

12th Grade: Not Testing: 1st Floor

• Post Graduation Readiness Activities (essay writing, Common App help, etc.) begins at 8:30 AM.

• College Visits Begin at 9:00 AM

AP Library Set Up - will be finalized Spring 2027

• All students will check in outside of the library before each exam*.

• Hybrid & Language Exams are the only exams with APID labels, fully digital will have no label

  
  

• Students will find their seat/room on a roster outside the library. This will be their assigned seat if they try to switch seats exams could be voided.

  
  

• Conference Rooms within the library are for students with approved College Board accommodations.

  
  

• The library is a NO TALKING zone - there are exams going all day.

  
  

• They will present their physical ID to the proctor to confirm their identification and wait for instructions quietly.

To check exam registration: 

• Log into MyAP.

• Click into each AP class.

• Confirm the exam status shows “Registered” and that an exam date is listed.

If you do not see “Registered,” or anything looks incorrect, please reach out to Jen Culver or Anne North right away.

Regarding accommodations (if applicable):

• Accommodations are not clearly displayed in MyAP, so you will not see specific details there.

• If you have been approved for testing accommodations through College Board (SSD), those will automatically be applied to your AP exams.

• If you are unsure about your status or would like to confirm your accommodations, please contact Jen Culver right away to verify.

Download Bluebook by April 27th:

• Bluebook is the app students use to take their digital AP exams. 

• About one week before the exam, students should ensure the app is working properly and confirm that their exams and any approved accommodations (if applicable) appear. 

• If you need technical assistance, please stop by the tech office on the third floor as soon as possible.
