Some ways that teachers can motivate students is maybe by giving them some free time, if they don't have any work to do or letting them do something social in class when they are finished with work or projects. Another idea is that teachers can assign each student roles in the classroom, so that they feel important and responsible for something in the classroom. Also handing over some control to the students could be fun to try once in a while.

Some ways to motivate student is either playing a lot of games to , keep them entertained and not just bored out of their mind. Another idea to encourage students would be getting praise when they get a good grade or a honour roll. Lastly students could get prizes for doing something well. ( the prize could be food, candy or just extra credit.)

A lot of motivation that I have had has come from fear. Not only from the fear of failing but from the fear of my parents at what they would do to me physically and mentally if they found out. There is also lot's of peer pressure. When others around you have good grades like all A's and you have a/b grades you feel inferior and useless unless you can match up.

Motivations could be if you finish something or achieve some goals, you get
prizes. Another way motivate middle schoolers is the people around you, your pears, family members, or even teachers. The pressure comes to you so you will be even more motivative in order to finish or achieve a goal.

I personally think MS students are ultimately motivated by the reality that they really have no other choice in life, and that if they don't succeed now it will mess up their future somehow. However I also think that other minor motivators are achieving things such as gold honor rolls which can be used and shown for College/University applications, and another one would be their parents urging them on to achieve or be the best.

Something that MKIS projects is the peer pressure in receiving an honor roll. What motivates some kids is getting a gold honor roll, because they are high-achievers however some kids may feel bad if they don't get a gold honor roll, in this case, the motivation is trying not to feel bad.

Middle school students can be motivated by friends that want them to do better and have friendly rivalry between each other. Besides that, another motivation is by projects such as our authentic leadership project. This motivated us to join school clubs and become a leader by contributing to ongoing activities that contribute to stuff like activities, slideshows, and much more schoolwide events.

What motivates students are their grades. If they want to achieve more and get higher/better grades they will want to study and do extra work to get extra credit, by doing so their grades will increase eventually. This is a motivation because it makes student want to do more and more to receive more and more until they are satisfied or have enough.
